La Universidad CEU Cardenal Herrera y el Grupo multinacional francés ESI han creado la Cátedra internacional de investigación “Real time control for the Simulation of Manufacturing Process”, dedicada al desarrollo de modelos matemáticos para el control en tiempo real de la simulación numérica de procesos de fabricación.

El Grupo ESI, que lidera a nivel mundial el desarrollo de este tipo de prototipos virtuales para simular procesos de fabricación industrial, financiará durante los próximos seis años los trabajos de investigación de esta Cátedra internacional, que dirige el profesor de la CEU UCH Antonio Falcó Montesinos.

El objetivo fundamental es lograr un salto tecnológico significativo en el campo de la fabricación virtual de nuevos materiales y productos industriales. Esto nos permitirá reforzar el conocimiento científico dentro del modelado numérico de procesos. Con esta nueva Cátedra, la CEU UCH y ESI pretenden consolidar su liderazgo tanto a nivel nacional como internacional en el campo de la investigación sobre la simulación numérica de procesos de fabricación de materiales y estructuras.
