Dr. José I. Bueso-Bordils has experience in the development of mathematical-topological models for predicting therapeutic activity, as well as in obtaining equations to predict pharmacological, pharmacokinetic and chemical properties. As a result of these years of work, 20 articles are indexed in WOS journals, of which 10 are Q1 (4 D1) and 8 Q2. He has participated in the research projects "Reacciones Enantioselectivas Catalizadas por Nucleófilos y Desarrollo de nuevos fármacos" (PRUCH 06/39) and "Aplicación de la conectividad molecular a la predicción de propiedades químico farmacéuticas" (PRUCH07/02). He received 2 scholarships [BC/ICB-Santander 05/12 and 06/12] from the Institute of Biomedical Sciences. He collaborated as a permanent researcher of the CEU-UCH/ESI International Chair "Real Time Control for Simulation of Manufacturing Processes" during 2017-22. He has 1 six-year period (sexenio) of research granted by the CNEAI (2014-2019 period). He participated as a collaborator in the dissemination projects "En busca de nuevos Fleming: experimentos reales, eventos científicos experienciales y gamificación de soportes divulgativos para el hallazgo de nuevos antibióticos y la concienciación sobre su uso " (FCT-19-14737) and "Alzando la voz contra la pandemia silenciosa: karaoke y performance para concienciar ante el aumento de las resistencias bacterianas a los antimicrobianos (RAM)" (FCT-22-18062). He holds the contractual figure of Contracted Doctoral Lecturer from the National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation (ANECA). He has tutored 8 Final Degree Projects and 1 Master's Degree Final Project. He has received the Ángel Herrera Award for Pedagogical and Didactic Innovation in Universities and the Innovation Award in the Innovación in the Classroom category. He has been Head of the Pharmacy Department at UCH-CEU during 07/2020-10/2023. He holds lamguage certificates level C2 in English and Italian, level C1 in French and level B2 in Catalan.
