Alzheimer's disease is one of the great health challenges of our time. More than 57 million people worldwide are currently living with some form of dementia and around 10 million new cases are diagnosed each year. Coinciding with the recent celebration of World Alzheimer's Day, the Universidad CEU Cardenal Herrera has hosted a conference focusing on the important issue of cognitive decline, entitled IV Jornada Interdisciplinar de Divulgación Científica sobre Deterioro Cognitivo, organized by the University Chair for the Study of Cognitive Decline, co-sponsored by MICOF, Valencia’s professional association for pharmacists, and CEU UCH. The event brought together researchers, academics and healthcare professionals to explore different perspectives on cognitive health.
