Advancing bioengineering in the Valencia region 

The Universidad CEU Cardenal Herrera will host the 2nd Valencia Bioengineering Meeting this September, bringing together researchers, professionals, companies and students working on biomedical engineering, advanced therapies and health technologies. José Manuel Baena, a researcher at CEU UCH’s Department of Pharmacy and the research lead of the Tissue and Organ Biofabrication Group, is part of the organizing committee for the meeting. He also heads the REGEMAT3D-BAT Institute-CEU UCH research chair, which promotes the development of advanced therapies through the use of cutting-edge bioengineering, tissue and organ biofabrication, and computational technologies.
