Equality and Diversity Unit

We recognize the inherent value and dignity of every human being. We are committed to equality between men and women. We are committed to this both as an organization and as transmitters of knowledge and values.

Committed to dignity and equality of opportunity

In order to make progress towards a fairer society, conditions of equality must apply to all men and women within it. The Universidad CEU Cardenal Herrera, in its role as a communicator of knowledge and educator of students in values, is committed to realizing this, via its Equality and Diversity Unit. Our purpose at the Equality and Diversity Unit is to:

  • Inform and advise the University’s governing bodies with regard to equality policies.

  • Participate in the creation, implementation and assessment of the University’s Equality Plans, which will establish the objectives and strategies required to facilitate equality in treatment and of opportunities at the University.

  • Report on those aspects of the University’s regulations and procedures which have a bearing on equality of opportunities for men and women.

  • Support research and educational activities across all study programmes which aim to promote equality.

  • Raise awareness amongst the University’s staff and students of the principle of equality.

  • Publicize activities concerning equality.
