Board of Trustees

As we form part of the Fundación San Pablo CEU (the CEU San Pablo University Foundation), the Board of Trustees is the supreme body for the governance and representation of the University.

Being a foundation means that all the income we generate is reinvested in further educational resources. That is why we are the private educational institution which invests the greatest amount of money in grants and scholarships.

International Advisory Board

The mission of the International Advisory Board is to enhance the global projection of CEU Universities and promote their academic and scientific excellence through strategic guidance and international collaboration. The Board works to ensure that the universities align with global trends and priorities in education, research, and innovation, thereby increasing their competitiveness and relevance on the international stage.

The Board plays a key role in achieving CEU’s vision of becoming a global benchmark in education, research, and innovation. By fostering collaboration and providing continuous guidance, it strengthens the universities’ ability to address 21st-century challenges and train professionals and leaders capable of creating meaningful change in their communities and beyond.

Former General Manager at Intel Corporation. Experience across three continents and operations in over 70 countries. Held executive roles in Fortune 500 companies and tech startups. Degree in Industrial Psychology (UV), MBA from IE BS, specialized in marketing at INSEAD, and Corporate Counselor certified by Harvard BS.

Mr. José María Peiró
Emeritus Professor at the University of Valencia and senior researcher at IVIE. Member of the Spanish Academy of Psychology and the European Academy. Honorary Doctor from several European and Latin American universities. Former President of the International Association of Applied Psychology.

Ms. Paula Jiménez Tamayo
Executive with over 20 years of international experience in the fashion and lifestyle industry. Worked at Inditex, Mango, and Nike Inc. Currently Senior Vice President of Sales at Karl Lagerfeld, leading global sales operations with visionary leadership and outstanding results.

Ms. Keiko Ikeda
Deputy Director of the Institute for Innovative Global Education at Kansai University. PhD in Japanese linguistics and foreign language education from the University of Hawai’i. Expert in conversation analysis and education internationalization.

Ms. Toni Jaeger-Fine
Director of Jaeger-Fine Consulting and Senior Counselor at Fordham Law School. Former Assistant Dean for 16 years. Author of "Becoming a Lawyer". Lecturer and speaker in the US and internationally.

Mr. José Manuel Páez
PhD from the Technical University of Madrid. Former Vice Rector for Internationalization at Tecnológico de Monterrey and Visiting Professor at Harvard GSD. Founder and Honorary President of the Magalhães Network, focused on student mobility between Europe and Latin America.

Mr. Vicente Ros
Managing Director of Initiative Spain, a global media agency. PhD in Communication and Executive MBA. Expert in digital marketing, technology, and media. Worked across sectors including retail, eCommerce, automotive, travel, beauty, and insurance. Author of “eBranding” and “Marketing 2.0”.

Mr. Mario Moretti
Chairman of Geox S.p.A. Inventor of the breathable and waterproof rubber sole. Turned Geox into a global lifestyle footwear brand present in over 110 countries with 30,000 employees. Honorary Doctor and lecturer on Intellectual Property topics.

University Ombudsman

We recognize the need to reflect on the consequences of our actions, to respect the regulations which apply to us and to fulfil the commitments we make.

The University Ombudsman (Defensor/a Universitario/a) is responsible for protecting the rights and freedoms of academic staff, support staff and students in procedures operated by the different University bodies and services.

The Ombudsman’s activities are carried out with the aim of improving the quality of the University in all areas, and they are not subject to the orders of any University body, maintaining the principles of independence and autonomy.
