• a. Take and interpret X-rays and other imaging procedures relevant to dental practice.
• b. Create diagnostic models, mount them, and take interocclusal records,
• c. Determine and identify the patient’s aesthetic requirements and the possibilities for addressing their concerns.
• d. Identify patients requiring special care, recognizing their characteristics and particular needs.
• e. Assess the motor and sensory function of the mouth, jaws, and associated structures.
• f. Perform limited invasive soft tissue diagnostic procedures (biopsies).

• a. Prescribing medications appropriately, with knowledge of their contraindications, interactions, systemic effects, and impact on other organs.

• h. Treat dentoalveolar trauma in primary and permanent dentitions.
• i. Treat inflammatory conditions of the periodontal and/or peri-implant tissues using both pharmacological and surgical methods, including supra- and subgingival periodontal scaling techniques.
• j. Assess and treat patients with caries or other non-carious dental conditions and be able to use all materials intended to restore the form, function, and aesthetics of the tooth in patients of all ages.
• k. Design, prepare teeth, prescribe, record, perform clinical trials, and place and commission indirect restorations: inlays, veneers or aesthetic laminate facings, and single-unit crowns.
• l. Operatively treat destructive processes and traumatic dentoalveolar injuries.
• m. Perform endodontic treatments and apply procedures to preserve pulp vitality.
• n. Perform conventional aesthetic procedures from a multidisciplinary perspective.
• o. Treat both partial and complete edentulism, including biological design (specific design characteristics), tooth preparation, taking impressions, clinical trials, and fitting patients with removable partial and complete dentures, simple tooth-supported bridges, and simple implant-supported prostheses, both removable and fixed, including their placement and commissioning.
• p. Prepare prescriptions for custom-made medical devices, including “dental prostheses” and “orthodontic and dentofacial orthopedic appliances”
• q. Perform non-surgical treatment of temporomandibular disorders and orofacial pain
• r. Perform oral and dental treatment for pediatric patients and recognize their characteristics and particularities
• s. Identify and correct oral habits likely to cause or exacerbate malocclusions
• t. Plan and determine the specific design characteristics, records, prescriptions, clinical trials, placement, and clinical adjustment for the use of fixed and removable space maintainers and interceptive orthodontic techniques, as well as removable active elements intended to move teeth or correct crossbites.
